To my party in LCY last night
 

My shitty Comcast internet went out last night about an hour into the party and as I just got off the phone with my wife she said it is still down and the estimated time for repair from customer support is within the next 12 hours and all they will tell us is they are experiencing service interruptions in my area. WTF happens that knocks out internet for almost 24 hours!? Worst it's ever been before was 3 hours from the time it went out. I only remember a couple of names from the party..Critz, Phastmasic (?), Gobartnik (?), and some others. Sorry about that. Now I'm just hoping my character didn't do something stupid when i LD'd.

I think Gobartnik was the most upset.

I've looked into other ISP's but they say they don't have the 'proper equipment' installed in my area to support high speed lines that I require. I have business class with a static IP through Comcast and the next best option is DSL with a static. No comparison. T1 is not available in my area. I run multiple servers and need more than the shit up speeds offered by DSL. When the Comcast works, it works okay, but we just had a service outage last Sunday for 3-4 hours while they did 'maintenance'. I live in suburbia outside of Denver and was very surprised to find out how limited I was.
