Mistmoore - Caitiff Pathing Question?

I could be completely wrong here but I did a good deal of MM back in the day as well as on p99 and I seem to recall the Avenging Caitiff roaming through the false wall, through the jail and then past the other two false walls and stopping just outside in the GY behind the crypt about 1/3 of the way from the wall to Ssynthi.

On P99 he stops at the bottom of the stairs.

Anyone that can confirm or deny this?
