Dex increasing throwing DMG

Does DEX increase DMG of throwing attacks? I know it should increase crit/deadly strike rate, but base DMG like it should for archery.

Thanks in advance, I searched the game mechanics but couldnt find an answer for this.

WHen you say damage never went up or down you mean increased arrow/bow dmg had no effect on how much dmg you did?

DEX affects ranged accuracy, not damage.
