Monks beware with final epic turn in
 

The Mad Kaiaren did not give me "Book of Celestial Fists" after handing in "Celestial fists". Somethings seriously wrong with these 2 NPC's in TT.
Received the correct quest dialogue and the mad kaiaren attacked me after returning the Celestial Fists. I then ran to the True form of kaiaren and gave him the Celestial fists book, nothing in return.

See, most monks don't even go to TT until they do their turn in. So it seems weird to have to give the book to mad Kairen, get it back, give it to true Karien, get back a changed book, then turn in both. The way the quest was designed, monks would be doing this in the beginning - before the fights. So the first turn-in to mad form is just to trigger true form and the turn-in to the true form was to get the dialogue of the fights (and get a changed book back). The later just return to TT and hand them in to either.


EDIT: I just reread your post. Seems you tried to cycle it through the true form also. I had just been discussing with a guildie about a monk today that had a problem with this turn in. He did what you did, but he gave the demon fang as well as the non-changed book to the true form. Not sure if this was you or not. We had another guildie do that, but the got the changed book back and lost the fang. He then turned in the changed book hoping it would act like a multiquest ... it did not (apparently the fang was eaten). But we suspected the book was still on him so we got some people and re-did all the fights in an hour and a half and when he turned in the fang he got his epic. Good luck!

I gave the book in by its self to mad form, he gave it back. Then I gave the book mad form gave me to true form, by its self. He gave me nothing in return. There is clearly a problem here :/ I'm not the only one whos had this happen.

If you turned in celestial fists to true form and got nothing in return then yes there is a problem.

Thats exactly what happened.

I did the epic yesterday, worked fine for me (at lvl 50).

I did however do the epic when I was lvl 35 and the mad form of kaiaren ate the celestial fist (book), so I would be careful when doing that epic at low level. I lost a robe + immortals out of it. I decided to then do it at level 50 to be safe, and it worked out fine.
