Today I didn't give a bum money, I really wanted too, but I resisted since I knew he was just going to buy crack with it. I saved him from himself

I was in D&D and this bum was inside and he asked me for a dollar. I thought he was going to buy a donut, but then he walked outside proceeding to buy some crack. silly ol' me.

You know what I do instead? I take them to a fast food joint and buy them food, without ever letting them touch the money. You can separate the hungry from those just wanting to buy booze very easily if you do this.

Let the addicted and the weak die out.

I do that too but they don't want the food they just want "bus money" I live in seattle we have extensive social programs for the homeless. They are provided food and shelter daily, there was a recent study about the homeless in various cities with seattle ranking as a "do not donate" city, because 95 cents of a dollar goes to drugs or alcohol

the other 5 cents goes to fast women
