Monk Sky Test of Tranquility - Golden Sash
So I go to do the turn in, trigger Wu the Enlightened after returning the book to Holwin, and this is the text:
[Wed Mar 14 21:58:03 2012] Wu the Enlightened says, 'Ah, the test of tranquility. Only the tranquil monk can achieve enlightenment. Are you such an individual? Time shall tell. Retrieve these items for me. Bring an Aged Nectar, a Writ of Quellious, and a Glowing Diamond and we shall asses your ability.' Old guides and memory tell me that I need:
The P99 Wiki says i need:
We had no Writ of Quellious in the guildbank, but did have Decree of Quellious, so I was OK with this and just assumed a slight difference on this server. But what the quest giver is asking for is completely off. I didn't risk the turn in, he despawned, and now I come to you. Anyone have any insight? |
It's fine turn it in.
grats, you won the item and you've got a nice bug report.
According to http://www.angelfire.com/freak/eqjon...laneofsky1.htm , apparently it was Glowing Diamond, but was changed to Tear of Quellious at some point. The wiki also makes it sound like Writ/Decree are interchangeable as far as names go.
It's fine. Text is/was also fucked for Wu's Fist. Wu was asking for an Emerald Amethyst when he really meant an Ethereal Amethyst. Turn in works fine, Wu is just dumb.
It did work, and thanks all for the help.
Regardless, the script should be fixed to reflect what the actual turn in items are since 2 of the 3 are completely different. The items I turned in are: Aged Nectar, Decree of Quellious, and Tear of Quellious. |
The name of the item was changed post-Kunark/Velious, because there are TWO items in-game that are called Writ. Allakhazam it.
Changed name of item "Decree of Quellious" to "Writ of Quellious", pending update.
Bump. Wu is still asking for a Glowing Diamond instead of Tear of Quellious, even though the turn in works with the tear.
