TRACKING -- severely bugged*****

I believe it started happening after the last patch...since then Tracking has been severely off. Tracks people in the total opposite direction. Needs to be looked at asap. To fix, we must camp out and log back in...

Indeed. Tracking has always *occasionally* bugged out but now when I use it on players, it's completely inaccurate more often than not. I also think it was a recent patch that did this.

I've found tracking tends to bug out when tracking other PCs who are near zone lines or large zone obsticles (like all the impassible mountains in rathe mountains, etc). My guess is that somehow these wall mess up the code, but i'm not sure at all, and could be wrong

In my experience, as a druid, this occurs (and has occurred for a long time) with both players and npcs/monsters when they are bordering the edge of my tracking range. I've gotten into the habit of just running the opposite way when I know what I'm tracking is just that far away.

Just wanted to bump this, see if there is a chance it can or will ever be fixed?

Player tracking is the worst.
