Learn from me, ALWAYS wear a helmet
 

Just had emergency brain surgery this past Thursday due to a skiing accident I had earlier this month...

Please, please, please always wear a helmet. I am recovering nicely but (from what I was told) it was truly close. The clot in my head shifted my brain by 8mm which generally shuts down breathing and most other motor functions. For some reason I was still fully functional and coherent, heck I even went running/spinning the night before I went to the ER.

Now I am preaching the virtue of helmets!
