Biggest issue with server

Biggest issue on this server, and apparently P99 in general tho all I know about blue is from their forums, is Rogean's failure to listen to what the players want. We had a vote on XP which showed the vast majority of people wanting AT LEAST 50% exp boost from 1-50, instead we get scaled XP. Vote on global ooc, still no ooc, vote on recharging, took 3 months to get it removed, massive outcry over rules, harsher rules imposed, vote on yellowtext, told will never happen. Stop making this server what you guys who don't play it want it to be, and make it what the playerbase wants it to be. Rant off.

Rogean is taking a break dude. Most people don't know this and think he's here but not listening.

Hopefully Big Null can help us out with other things in the mean time.

I'm just going to demolish everything you say in one post so this thread can die quickly:

This is a bizarre thing to say about the most popular red server and the most popular blue server, respectively, on eqemu.

1. This isn't a democracy
2. If this were a democracy, you'd still be wrong. Either you can't do math or you're just a liar. Roughly 42% of voters chose an option of 50% or above. That isn't a majority, so it's certainly not the "vast majority".

I can't speak for the staff but I'm sure they're still thinking this one through. It would be kind of silly to just change things on a whim because the majority wanted it. Also, this isn't a democracy. Be patient and stop whining. I thought you were an adult?

So it got removed eventually. This has nothing to do with your premise that Rogean doesn't listen, or that him not listening is bad. Red herring.

massive outcry over rules, harsher rules imposed
What massive outcry? You mean everyone in Holocaust? Also, this isn't a democracy.

Because yellow text is a completely moronic idea? Good thing this isn't a democracy. I'm tired of explaining why yellow text is stupid so I'll just ask you to search for one of my many posts on the subject (which were never responded to by any supporters of yellow text, except for the occasional post calling me a "fag" or something like that).

Let me pose a serious question to you: why should the staff care about this? They wanted to make a classic pvp server, something no one has ever done, and now a group of barely literate apes who can't be civil or rational about anything are rudely demanding that they change the server to suit them. If I sell lemonade, don't tell me I should be selling apple juice. Fuck off.

wolfram still garbage and pvp and forum post

Hammertime 02-29-2012 11:23 PM

nirgon, if rogain is taking a break.. how come amelinda keeps telling us that she proposed global ooc and rogain shot that down. He must be just trolling

can i be an ape , do i need to complain about the server first?

Nirgon 03-01-2012 12:25 AM

Rogean in other threads said no to ooc and yellow text. Fact.

As far as you Wolfram, Amelinda received howling tells about Lethdar binding in a safe spot in fear and aggro'ing CT all night.

Again, you have 0.0% of a clue what is actually going on regarding the raid scene.

Actually Wolfram has some good points. This isn't a democracy. Just like Sony, it's the developer's vision of classic and if you don't like it you can just STFU...

I think it is really obvious that he is taking a break. I'm happier knowing that than he's here and not doing anything. Put that into perspective na'mean.

Actually, Sony routinely bends to the will of its customer, so your point is invalid, thanks.
