New players to red
 

Hi all have a few friends that are going to be starting on red here with me (4 of us total) just wanted to know if there is a spot we can read up what has been patched released so far - and where we should start out. We were thinking freeport.

Group is going to be
Pally - tank
Monk - dps
Druid - ports
Cleric - rez

any tips would be great!

get lvl 34 fast and camp manastones for the druid,cleric and paladin. They're gone in 1month and 3 weeks approx

if you can, get lvl 46 as fast as you can and apply to nihilum and get some lustrous russet before they take it out!

Play the game, enjoy it. Dont worry about being an epic poopsocker like this guy. In game name (troriste). There is pvp to had at all levels and a group like the one your forming has everything really you would need.

I am a paladin, i could maybe see if I have any spare stuff I can part with.

Get magic resist gear as quickly as possible for you guys would be my best bet. travel as a group everywhere you go, there is definitely strength in numbers.

Qeynos area would be a very good place to start for you guys as well.

1-3 - Newbie Zone
3-5 - Catacombs , camp injured rats, undead knight for +5 hp jewelry. other items.
5-8 - gnoll fangs in qeynos hills, rabid wolves (turn pelt into priestess in rodcet nife cleric guild for good xp and pp) get your druid the jagged pine crook.
work on doing the shining star of light quests for your pally and cleric.
8-14 - grind the shit out of blackburrow, turning in fangs.

14+ = befallen if your up for a challenge and uncontested dungeon.
or if your up for possible pvp unrest.
maybe stop at crushbone to get u guys shiny brass shields, prayer clothes of tunare, bracers of batlle. screaming mace quest for melees.

As long as your confident that every member of your group will stay, then your fine. Only the druid would do well solo if some of the group quit.
You don't want to be playing a monk or paladin by yourself.

I also suggest making friends early on and dont shit where you level up.

much better exp to be had in qeynos (gnoll fangs), so i'd recommend starting there instead. if you do come to fp, though, mustard/ketchup/zuranthium are leveling there, so send one of us a tell.

where you get this info from?

your group has 0 dps

if youll be hanging together every night do something like

mage mage mage mage and watch the exp fly and watch people die

i mean u dps'd them gaurds down so bad they didnt even fight back steaks.
