What's going on with the Server (Red Update 2-5-12)
 

Hi guys :) Consider this your update post as to what is going on because i have been informed several of you feel as though the server is getting no attention.

I assure you that is not the case. Rogean (CSR Management & server admin) has been very busy with work and was sick for a couple of weeks. (Not to mention star wars - DAMN I hate that game ) I do want to remind you that this is our hobby. This is NOT our job. The staff all has real jobs and real families that come before our very fun and time consuming hobby.

With that said, here are a few updates/general statements about the server:

• Amelinda is new CSR GM (Covers both red and blue servers)
• There are 2 new guides that will be working both servers
  • Ambrotos
  • Gratis
• Null has made a few changes that will be patched. Changes to channeling for sure.
• I am working on trying to talk Rogean into implementing a trial run of global OOC. The global OOC will not be a cesspool. If that is the only reason you want it then i recommend you put your sad face on and sit in the corner because it will be moderated.
• Yellow Text will probably NEVER go in on this server because yellow text leads people to do really stupid things to either avoid or achieve yellow text. We are trying to keep the level of poor behavior to a manageable level.
• Nihilum loot - Rogean posted some time ago that he would be removing the loot from any dragon kill that looked to be non-legit. This will be occuring at the next patch.
• The next Patch - People keep asking when it's going to be. I honestly don't know. It has to be done by Rogean which means he has to have the time to do it. AND just to reiterate - this is his HOBBY. He has a Job. He's been sick. He has a family and friends that he spends time with.

SO don't feel like nobody loves the red server. Nilbog still reads every post and all of the devs are still looking at the bugs forum and fixing bugs. But we don't keep a public list of bug fixes etc and upcoming patch changes. Mostly because sometimes there are changes that should be surprises.
