Petrifin Drop Rate
 

Just curious if anyone knows the drop rate on this guy? I've killed him 12 times and no bracers have dropped. Someone told me 25%, does this seem accurate? The odds of me not having a bracer if the drop rate of 25% seem too low for this to be accurate.

I have a question on spawning him. I was told you just kill the basilisks around where the hill giants are. I did this for 3 hours one night to get him to spawn. Was I doing something wrong or just bad luck of the draw?

Someone told me it works there but I've had better luck west of there by the undead ruins and Kazzel. I believe both spots work, but you don't have to deal with HGs aggroing you.

I would agree that 25% on bracer sounds right. MAYBE 20%.
Sounds like y'all just had some bad luck.

edit: I've farmed up about 10 bracers from 20-30 Petrifin kills, but I generally have good luck.
