Slow Immune List
 

There use to be a page dedicated to EQ mobs that were immune to slow. Anyone remember this and have a link?

On the same note, will the server ever get the "immune to slow" message on said mobs. I cant remember if this was a luclin or velious feature.

When a mob is immune to slows it says something to the effect of "This mob is immune to changes in its attack speed."

and yea Jeremy, I just wasnt sure if the message showed up yet. I havent raided much at all here.

Reason I asked, tryin to solo Black Dire, and cannot for the life of me land a slow.

Grab a couple of friends for Black Dire.

Black Dire is basically 100% magic resistant. After a malo laded a slow on like the 3rd or 4th try, but its just hard to land roots or slows in general so soloing it is just a pain.

Does Dire summon? Anyone know approx hp?

Hes level 45, so no summon. He does hit like a level 60 mob though, doubles in the 200s, so he is no pushover since he has near-immunity to magic. He doesn't have a hug amount of HP, probably 5-10k but I didnt even have a DPS when I did it with a few people and he went down pretty quickly.

The hardest part, especially if you're going to try to tank it, is taking the giant hits, which will definitely not be countered by torpor unless you manage to slow him.
