Making Wu's Armor - frustrated to say the least
 

Unless I am missing something. Looks like I have to work my pottery skill up to 150 to make poison vials. Find a vendor that sells Pearls. Find an Enchanter to give the poison vials and pearls to, for them to cast thicken mana one at a time on them. Then combine that with the brewing component, silk swatch(s), and pattern only to fail 95% of the time. Wow, how are there any high level tailors. My Rogue epic quest back in the day was easier than leveling up a tailor.

im not sure the ins and outs of skillcrafting in EQ, but i remember in classic, very few people did it because it was a pain in the ass.

You can get Vials from Freeport secret entrance. o.O Just to make it a lil easier. but yeah.. the cost per combine, preeeetttttyy 'tarded.

Can't you pretty much say "My Rogue epic quest back in the day was easier than [insert anything at all]"? I mean, rogue epic isn't exactly known as challenging.

From my memory back on live, high level tailoring was super painful until one of the expansions (I forget which one) which included a new recipe that cost more plat but allowed you to skip all the Wu's.

With Velious comes crystaline silk. That will remove some of the pain.
