Robe of the Whistling Fists.

Robe of the Whistling Fists -Brother Balatin - When charming Brother Balatin he does not respond to hails, nor does he return the Robe of the Whistling Fists after handing in your Robe of the Lost Circle and the two metal pipes.

All three of my items were lost. The quest NPC does not reject the items either as if they were incorrect. Please look into this..

To recap on the bug so people don't think it's still broken.

This morning I charmed Brother Balatin and handed him my Robe of the Lost Circle and both metal pipes. However, I did not receive anything in return. In addition there was no quest text at all.

Shortly after the original post was made Amelinda and/or Nilbog had reset the mob/script and he was then responding to Hails and was working as intended. Unfortunately I was left with no Robe, or quest items to turn in.

Two other monks have since then completed the Robe of the Whistling Fists quest and it is confirmed to be working. A friendly reminder, hail the mob to make sure it's being responsive. If he doesn't respond to hail (even when not charmed), then it will eat your items.

Awesome. I'm sure it'll be fixed before I have time for two 30 hour camps, but I'm sure you'll get your stuff back.

Unless magic happens and Betrayer spawns in 1 hour, but that totally never happens, right!

Just tried this and it worked fine.

Not entirely sure what's wrong with this, but after reloading scripts for DL, he responded and worked for me.

If he responds to your hails, it should be gtg.

As far as reimbursements, make individual posts in petition/exploit: reimbursement.

Just to add to this issue

Brother Balatin's spawn/placeholder is having a tendency to spawn under the pyramid. I had Amelinda help with it, but I can see this causing an issue with it spawning out of agro range.

Can I get a GM to chime and and confirm if you can in fact MQ the Robe of the Whistling Fists quest?
