Player looking to come out of retirement
Good Morning, and Merry Christmas everyone!
My name is Faygin, (well in-game anyway!) and i played on Xev, Antonius Bayle from beta of everquest until around 2003 (when i finally got back in touch with reality). I originally quit because of planes of power, and how greedy everyone had became! I have been looking at checking out what everquest is all about nowadays, but understand its like a new game from when i last played eight years ago, and i stumbled on a few people talking about the emulator servers on the everquest facebook page. Project 1999 looks like it has the answer for all those niggly reasons why i wanted to come back and re-live those great times shared by everyone all those years ago. (i mean , whats the point in doing an epic quest when there is better out there?) I just have a few questions regarding which copy of the game i need to purchase, I do have steam, so i am considering downloading it, but i was going to look in some game shops and see if there was any copies in there. Does the copy of the game have to be Underfoot/Titanium, or can i get away with EQ gold? (i knew i should of kept my discs, even for nostalgic reasons!) Also, i am based in the UK, and i was wondering if there is any europeans which play on the server, or am i likely to be the black sheep european playing at odd times? ;) I would very much be grateful to any advice etc, and Look forward to meeting some of you in the near future (when i can mez/snare the missus, jboot up, port to the shop, buy the game and gate back!) well maybe not that, but EQ is on my mind! :) Thank you and, Kind regards Faygin! |
Titanium only sir. and If you do play, alot of people play around the world. If you come back and play, ill shall play with you and also play more :D
