Give melee like 50 innate channelling

On live there was egg shaped pumice making this unnecessary

Nirgon 12-20-2011 12:05 PM

Oh no ya don't

Truth 12-20-2011 12:51 PM

Due to a lack of actual channelling, a single hit for a single point of damage causes an automatic interruption. Foiled by a light blue mage pet, when in classic through velious you could instantly free yourself.

This compromise goes beyond what is fair and just.

Nirgon 12-20-2011 12:53 PM

I don't think so man. Melees didn't have channeling. Maybe in Velious... but still no.

Truth 12-20-2011 01:01 PM

Melees never received channeling, but we already broke the game for an entire class archetype by straying from classic. So pick eggs or 50 channel get the poll up.

hoot hoot o.o

Amuk 12-20-2011 01:04 PM

I like the idea, but there's a lot of things I "like". I would vote no keep it classic. I get the insta pumice argument but meh that was broken as fuck.

Nirgon 12-20-2011 01:33 PM

In big team fights, I'm not sure its all TOO common for a melee to get focused. 1v1 with a mage pet on you is another story. I think it gives some incentive to beat on melees.

The problem is, you don't have to "beat" on the melee (Warrior/Rogue). You just have to send a weak ass pet at him and laugh as he can't do anything to help his group.

I consider melee'ing consistently for any damage as beating on.

Used in a sentence: "I'm trying to med but this shadow wolf is beating on me"
