Macro Questions
 

i was wondering if there are any macro commands u can use that can wield weapons/items (ex. bard instruments).. and also to un-wield them also..

sorry if this is a dumb question, if there are such commands please let me know! thank you!

P.S- NO - im not talking about mq.. regular commands in eq.

the best social macro is a heal 3 etc...

/cast 1
/pause 35
/cast 1
/pause 35
/cast 1

change the pause timer according to the cast time of the spell. if the cast time is longer than make the pause longer. you can heal 3 times, nuke 3 times, tash then mez then incapacitate.

there are a number of triple spell combos that can be executed with one button.

You can include a cast message after a pause on the same line.

Example: /pause 35, /cast1

What Dojii said. The number behind pause terminate the time 35 = 3.5 secs you can polish this to your personal server lag. Keep in mind thought that it has some drawbacks. If the first cast on the macro fizzles it will go thru the rest of the macro before u can recast. Its ok for dumb kiting but certanly not enough for PvP or Group PvE.

once you also get good at the instruments, its a decent way to 'weave' songs. but on other emu servers i've seen it really crunch a bard tho. cause some times the bard songs would get stuck etc, you'd have to camp out.

but for bard you do stuff like

/stop
/cast 2
/pause x
/cast 2

remember tho like someone said you do get a small lag anytime you make a macro. its miliseconds but manually casting is always the fastest way if you have to lock on.

another good common macro for a healer is

/assist
/pause 0
/cast 1 (1 = heal)
/cast 1
/cast 1

thats the assist heal. great for any situation. you assist the mob, it will heal the person who is on agro. you assist the player, it will heal the player they are targetting without you having to target the person in danger. great for mass pvp etc. just great over all.

the extra casts at the end are for fizzles.

as per the /stop and /off command they are part of titanium client not sure if functional.

but with the assist heal macro, you have to add the /pause 0 for a mili second pause so that you change from the initial target; to the target's target. without the /pause 0 you will be sometimes stuck healing the target you initially targeted. ;p say that fast three times.

/pause 0 it up, or modify it appropriately for the server lag/response. but it should be 0-1
