charm = see invis?
An npc that doesn't normally see invisible.. may gain the ability to see invisible after it is charmed for a pet and released. I remember this producing random see invis mobs... but I didn't play an enchanter or bard.
Discuss. Am I making this up? Did a little research and came across a couple of quotes which leads me to believe there is some merit. Quote:

That..explains..a..lot.

I'm not a fan of recreating bugs for the sake of being era accurate :\

I am.

Dang - you mean all those times on live that I cast See Invis on charmed guards and then zoned...I didn't need to cast See Invis? ;)

This is just going to promote a lot of griefing, is my point.
Remember charming moving mobs? |
Yep I sure do. I remember people training me on live, too. :P
If this was a passive feature of live that was included through the scope of our project, we should fix it. Moving charmed npcs was not.. and we fixed it. See my point? |
Maybe we should make bards able to kite entire zones before we focus on silly see invis charm..... :p

I don't specifically remember this always being the case and I played a Cleric/Enchanter combo through Live.
I think it was only some mobs in some places past a certain era. |
