I hate to harp on you bro, but working within the system is what has been proven not to work. No individual or group within our government stands a snowballs chance in the Congo of making a real change in policy while the CIA and corporate interests hold court in Washington.

This is just another aspect of the shell game. The people working real real hard on "changing" the government feel real real good about their work, but nothing really gets done.

If that's true...there is nothing that can be done...and I don't believe that.

It's our obligation to TRY.

Let me translate HBB for you... Too hard, why try. Lets sit in a park or on some docks because that is the true (read: easy) way to get attention. If we disrupt the rest of the world enough we can get some coverage on the news and then we will feel justified in our cause.

I didn't say there is nothing that can be done, but everything that CAN be done is outside the system. The system is rigged such that any change you can actually accomplish is just another one of the options that they are comfortable giving you. Anything they don't want to happen is not given as one of the choices. It's like a false dichotomy fallacy. We've been programmed to think that our only options are the ones they give us, but that is simply not true.

This is why books like Gene Sharp - From Dictatorship To Democracy are so powerful, and also why none of us have ever heard of it, though it has been around for decades and has been a major driving force behind several revolutions.
