earlier in the week this situation played out:

my friend and are on the snake ledge in BB.
I am level 7 he is 6.
A necro attacks us.
I pull my pet off the snake and attack necro.
I am fairly sure the necro was not at full health when he attacked but dont know how much.
Necro kills my friend
I drop to about 5% before i kill necro.

my confusion arises as I try to loot the necro and cannot. My friend hurries back and he cannot either. Why?

sounds like that snake or some other snake might have got the kill shot. OR your friend wasn't grouped with you and after dying lost loot privileges. Rarely happens...

post the screenshot of your kill anyway with some mspaint text calling him a fag, that seems to be the real pvp reward

Sounds like we need a rematch.

Killshot is not the present determiner of loot rights, which is a bug. Mob damage is counting toward that, and they often deal the most damage of anyone and thus steal the loot rights.

So if someones get wtfpwned and suicide at 1% on npc you can still loot?

I think this is probably correct.

Okay but does it still count bros cuz I thought the rule was killshot screenshot is all that matters or never happened.
