asus motherboard audio probs, help plz
 

recently bought an asus m4a785-m motherboard. everything is great except it does not detect any audio device. wtf?? help please!! ive tried many drivers and they wont install because they dont detect an audio device...

have you checked bios so your audio isent disable in there? disable audio in the bios can cause this

"asus" Found your problem. Are you using a sound card? If it's a creative sound card, this is a well known issue. If so, Try using driver sweeper to uninstall the audio drivers and then reinstall them ( be sure to restart after everything). If you're using onboard sound, make sure the audio drivers for your motherboard are up to date. Edit: Most likely it's audio files not getting deleted by windows.

its onboard sound. it says it has hd sound but it actually "doesnt detect an audio device".....
