Anyone ever been ripped off by a Jboots MQ seller? How safe is this and would GMs do anything to a scammer?

Pretty safe. Make sure they take off /anon or something, if it's some lev 55 player selling it to you its a bit of a waste to try to scam someone for 5-6k and ruin a character's reputation. Isn't really enough money for it to be worthwhile.
