Bard Mez Question
 

So the other day when we had the mini PvP events (EC + Arena) I was runnin with some people in EC raising hell when I noticed something that kept happening when mezzing: nothing. It was casting on people, and not giving a resist msg but it wasn't mezzing. I thought maybe they were DoT'd or taking some damage to break it, but I was trying it on someone near me with 0 buffs and 0 negative effects. So am I missing something? I'll be the first to tell you I'm rusty on playing the Bard class in general aside from on a Blue server, but I remembered Bard mez working differently against me when I was on TZ.

Not sure how it's working in game, but mez should land on people whether they are doted or not. Should only break mez when dot ticks.

Bard mez is useless on this rendition IMO... you can't reliably mez anyone for more than 3 seconds, after you get through the MR for the first mez that is. Might as well triple chant them instead and snare off and on vice any mezzing. That's how I'll be bardin it up anyway on R99

Crission's pixie strike should last exactly 3 ticks. If it's lasting any less than that (excluding resists) then it is seriously broken and it needs to be fixed.

edit: I tried this in game and could never reproduce the problem.
