I believe lvl 30 or 35+ you didn't have to anymore and could still gain meditate skill just sitting. This was an added change but I don't know when.

I recall this being true, but it makes me wonder how classic we have to get.
I wanted to try making a halfling paladin but apparently that wasn't allowed. Not sure how that really breaks immersion when there were gnome warriors in classic though. |
only benefit of this is having an ultra clean spell book from re-arranging it over and over and over due to boredom
