NFP Bankers are Threat and attack - Guards are dubious
 

I go to bank in NFP where the guards are dubious and don't attack me. I walk up to the banker and he starts attacking me. I die, come back and con the banker and he is threatening (but he still let me bank with him while I was getting owned).

Is this right? I never remember a banker attacking you unless you attacked him. Never known one to go below dubious. I thought bankers were all their own faction? What faction is it?

I'm a DE Agnostic Mage.

If this isn't correct, will fix.

However, the only allakhazam information about the banker states he does attack players low with coalitionoftradefolk.

About bankers attacking.. i know for certain the goblin banker in runnyeye would attack. On a related note, you can bank with bankers while fighting them.

Still looking for a coallition of tradefolk guy that is not a merchant or banker.. (on Al'kabors timeline we are past the point where they made all merchant type NPCs dubious as the lowest faction they could go, to prevent people from training them all over the place. Banker and merchants around the banker showing as dubious to the dark elf, but like I said.. I need to find a non merchant member of that faction to /con)

Someone please give me an NPC on coalition of tradefolk that is not a banker or merchant.

Bankers were on racial faction not guard faction. Coalitionoftradefolk may be right, i'm not sure. Even after grinding WFPT guards (corrupt) and maxing ally with the Paladin guards in North Freeport my ogre shaman (rallos zek) was kos to the bankers in NFPT on live.

Their aggro is LoS and banking is not. FD tricks them also. They do not see invis, so opening a transaction using LoS and then being invis'd by a groupmate works fine.

Isabella Cellus. The human who walks around Highkeep's casino area. And.. rarely wanders from qey2hh1 to qeynos2, through qeytoqrg.

Assorted other random /cons since I ran out there anyways. I would suspect a more "evil" combo would of been less then dubious to Cellus since an agnostic mage was dubious and so was only getting a faction hit for the relativily mild dark elf racial hit.

North Freeport bankers are on CoalitionofTradeFolk and have not started KoS to agnostic dark elf magician in some time.

Move to resolved.

I never got why killing the corrupt guards hurts your north freeport merchant faction

It dosent, it hurts CoalitionofTradeFolkIll

(and the shifty merchants aligned with them, which I dont think are represented in North Freeport)
