Rogean: PvP Attacks no longer require the attacker to be facing their target.

What does this mean? Can you be more specific?

Melee? Spell? How will this effect jousting or rogues being behind targets for back stab?

Amuk 10-23-2011 09:38 PM

Pre patch melee required a frontal cone of attack range, now you can attack 360 degrees around, for example a rogue running through a target and backstabbing from his ass, aka the frontbackstab.

Why was this done?

Gonna change jousting, allow for rogues to backstab by running through you...

Cause its classic dufus

Confirmed didn't play classic.

Rogues could always run through you to backstab at opportune moments (I.E. right when they pass through your model, not facing you)

This also worked in PVE.

Agree with Harrison. I've played multiple rogues and it's the only way a rogue can solo.

what a scrub

Cwall 10-23-2011 10:24 PM

classic as FUCK

Galacticus 10-24-2011 01:49 AM

Pretty much would have had to play a rogue to know that.

Or ever PVP one and see them run in to you and you get hit with a backstab.
