Is there a reason why swords of runes arent procing for magi pets on non summoned mobs?

They're definitely proc'ing for necro pets.


Tried using search but couldnt come up with this issue.

Not that I'm aware of. Can only certain necro pets use them, or all of them?

I've seen them work on the level 39 necro pet (Malignant Dead) as well as on the 53 rogue pet (Minion of Shadows), so I guess any necro pet that is level 20 and higher (sword of runes procs at level 20, level 24 necro pet Haunting Corpse onward?) should be able to use them. They seem to proc a lot too.

For further reference, they don't work on non summoned mobs for charmed pets either, the same way they don't work for magician pets. I haven't tried them on shaman pets yet.

Aye, very weird stuff. Only necro pets over lvl 20 can proc this on non-summoned mobs, anything else cant.

that includes: charmed pets, magician pet, summoned enchanter pets and shaman pets.

I can confirm that the lvl 59 Necro pet Emissary of Thule procs these weapons on non-summoned mobs.

Never thought to bug report it, becuase I knew it to be classic.

All pets can proc sword of runes, pending update.
