What do bannings have to do with the server going down?

My guess is this is VP prep, PVP prep (server congruency required), some Hole bug fixes, and some other miscellaneous fixes.

Ok, I suppose that foreshadowed bans fall in with the nature of "predictions" as asked by JenJen. I was just supposing she was wondering what people thought the reason for the server downage might be.
