npcs which should drop lots of gold/silver/copper
 

There are certain npcs which should drop higher denominations of coin in gold, silver, and copper.

i.e.
You receive 40 platinum, 64 gold, 90 silver and 8 copper from the corpse.
You receive 20 platinum, 85 gold, 105 silver and 87 copper from the corpse.

-ice giants outside permafrost
-hill giants
-treants

Anything else?

All giants in general should drop high coin values, atleast Original ones (unsure if the giants in Kunark did). Fire, Ice and Hill.

I believe 'rares' like Griffins in Karanas/Commons (high level varient) dropped large sums of coin as well.

Raid bosses also dropped quite a bit IIRC.

cant speak for griffins (commonland version) but griffon which was the karana equivalent didnt drop big plats like Hill giants.

Yeah, all the old world giants were loaded compared with the Kunark and Velious giants. It was a running gag back on live.

Sand giants, and fire giants too.

yes but kunark giants *regularly* drop gems and equipment worth 12-80pp on live.

Hardly ever drop anything on P1999.

Gornit was also a big coin dropper. Granted he is a giant.
