They are making changes to R99. I suspect blue will be brought down soon too as it seems there will be a new EQchanges file to download.

me also. still shows both servers up so I dont see why the files would be swapped if they arent taking them down yet

Im using the patcher and can get on, but cannot log in any characters on Red. Says zones are down. Tried multiple starting zones too.

EDIT: Can get on blue fine. So they may just be having troubles with Red. If you need to get on blue, use the patcher from the link on the front page.

the patcher that is the alternative program instead of manually extracting the spells zip files? eqemulauncer.exe or whatever it is? Is that the one?

Yes thats the one.

Just noticed Rogean has uploaded the latest spell files (v16). So you should be good to go either way.
