Minor Illusion

With the incoming R99 server, this bug should perhaps get some attention.

When an enchanter casts Minor Illusion, and becomes another form, it works for everyone in the zone, they see the illusion. However, if a player enters the zone AFTER the spell has been cast, they see the enchanter's original race rather than the illusion.

As this would suck awfully for enchanters come R99, please give it a bit of attention.

Thanks,
- trix

yes this should def be fixed. also, back in the day, your name didn't appear above your head if you were illusioned (or at all>??). i remember illusioning dry bones to pretend i was a skeleton and escape pvp death, also using minor illusion ALL THE TIME and actually being really hard to detect because no name appeared over my head...

Impacting Red99 in a similar way, racial illusions will not properly display for other people under the circumstances you have described. If another player enters the zone after a player-race illusion has been cast, they will see the enchanter as the proper race, however the enchanter will appear to be the size of their base race. For instance, since my natural form is that of a gnome, many people will see me as a tiny barbarian, elf, or iksar when I am under illusion! All I can advise is not to use some of the coolest tools enchanters have for PvP until it gets fixed :(

Some threads I started on these topics. . .
