Server Population
 

Hello, I am planning on joining the server here soon and wanted to get a feel what the player base is like and what classes are needed. Ive always played a bard but want to give another class a go, as from reading the forums it doesn't seem like a certain class overpowers another. Im excited to get the old world feel back!! Hopefully see you all in norrath soon!

Yeah you pretty much found it yourself. Just play whatever you want. If you really can't decide and cleric is on your short list, then do that. There're never enough clerics - it's the only class that has its own reserved position in a group (a good group, anyway).

I'm hearing rumors on the breezes that the citizens grow restless.

Something about needing something else to do in game with their time.


Like actually compete for loot for a change. Get the blood flowing and the heart racing.

my groups always have a cleric/tank, seems to be a lot, we're always scrambling for DPS though, more rogues plz!

If you liked playing a bard you might try enchanter (even though they seem to be overpopulated at high levels). Both classes play pretty similarly. Enchanters are also loved in groups.

I find the people in game to be helpful, friendly, and you will be pleased to see players in most of the old world zones. Pick what class you think will be most fun. Unless you are looking to do serious raiding, then I would check the guild discussion forums and see what the raiding guilds are recruiting. See you in game :)

Server Needs More Bards! Definately.. but aye do what you want just putting it out there

declining server population threads keep popping up.

EQ population has always been a war of attrition.

I'm just pointing out what is obvious all over these forums.

The citizens need something to occupy their time between raids.
