I tried posting in the petition forum but it doesn't show up there? Even though I'm the post creator?

New accounts have to wait for a moderator to approve posts and then it becomes visible. After awhile this restriction is removed

The forums get spammed up with all kinds of garbage advertisements, shady links and even porn and this helps prevent it going public
