TLPs are a money laundering op

If you play TLPs you play a trivialized version of the game.

You're not on there to play EQ, you're there to use your knowledge of a two decade year old game to RMT your way into just below minimum wage. You're superior to lazy players in a version of the game that's set to easy.

The struggle of EQ or video games isn't what I'm saying makes someone better than others, I'm saying games on life support that claim a service for players and customers is one thing, but then obviously look the other way and you could say they're built on fraud.

You might as well play a private server, where you know there could be corruption and made up rules that are enforced at the wimps of admins, rather than a company that claims a solid terms of service, then looks the other way as long as their bread is buttered.

If you play EverQuest, you're not playing Dungeons and Dragons; you're playing a trivialized version of it.

You aren't there to role-play. You're there to use your knowledge of decades of D&D lore to exploit a simple system for fun, essentially RMTing your way into just below minimum immersion. You get to feel superior to actual role-players in a game that's been set to easy mode.

The true struggle of a fantasy simulation game isn't what makes a player "better" than another. The issue is when a game on life support claims to be a service for its players but then turns a blind eye to its own broken systems. At that point, the whole thing is built on fraud.

You might as well play a private table, where you know there could be corruption and made-up rules enforced on the whim of a Dungeon Master, rather than a company that claims a solid terms of service but then looks the other way as long as their bread is buttered.

Most entertainment industries are money laundering operations.

Or do you think Kanye is just that talented? Kpop is the worst. Billions of smuggling money, while we cheer the bixies.

But Darkpaw is owned by immoral people. FTE is a crime.

I prefer my Money Laundering to be paid directly to actor's salaries so they can dress in Comic Book outfits and act in front of green screen.

Two-fold: It is humiliating for the actors, who wanted to act with other humans - and instead they are acting with the key grip who is holding a 4 ft pole with the Hulk's face on it.
And you get your money washed.

Ive not heard that conspiracy but I like it.

Sadre Spinegnawer 08-21-2025 02:03 PM

You can hear proof of the conspiracy by listening to Kanye West.

The legit front often gets a perk from being the legit front. But the entertainment bidness has taken it to levels that are jaw-dropping. The Kardashian family is laundering the entire Sinaloa Cartel. That's over 3/4 of a trillion dollars a year.

Boxing used to do this, then pro wrestling. But celebrity culture -- which genuinely produces nothing -- is the chef's kiss of money laundering.

I no longer like this conspiracy theory.
