WHAT is humility? (7 sins & 7 virtues)

I know this "7 sins and 7 virtues" isn't really in the Bible, but I would say it is agreed upon to be equally true and as "official" as the Bible. If you didn't hear about it yet, here it is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_virtues

Virtue / Sin
Chastity / Lust
Temperance / Gluttony
Charity / Greed
Diligence / Sloth
Kindness / Envy
Patience / Wrath
Humility / Pride

Now regardless if you believe these virtues are good for you I wanted to ask you what you think of humility, since pride is the biggest sin and therefore humility is the biggest virtue. Humility is like thinking less of yourself "I am not important".

The Oxford Dictionary, in its 1998 edition, describes humility as a low self-regard and sense of unworthiness.

So I have two questions for you. WHAT do you THINK of humility is it good or bad? And how come many times people say they are "proud" of something they are or that they did. Isn't this feeling bad? Because religiously speaking it is. Correct me if I'm wrong.

One thing I noticed about humility, if we look at the prideful famous people with a huge ego, be it KSI, Logan & Jake Paul, Andrew & Tristan Tate, almost noone really likes them except kids and deluded people. Then we have people like xQc, Speed and Adin Ross who I'd say are humble enough for where they are, they are not that bad to be honest. It feels like the more humility you have, the more likable you are as a person. And the more prideful you are, the more hated you'll become if you ever get famous.

Hated, but watched and wealthy.

Words in English have different meanings in different contexts. In the Catholic context, "humility" does not have the same meaning as in standard English!

The Catholic idea is about recognizing one's own unworthiness before God and accepting one's place in God's order. It is not about self-deprecation or feeling worthless, it's about seeing how magnificent God's larger plan is, and recognizing that you are just a tiny piece of that plan.

Yea I was going to say, the opposite of confidence to me seems to be insecurity

Whereas I personally think the opposite of arrogance would be more humility

An arrogant person who’s learned a lot might say “I know more than you” or “I know a lot of things”

While a humble person might say “the more I’ve learned the more I realize I do not know”

An arrogant person is brash, a humble person is quiet. It don’t associate humility as a negative or as self-deprecation

Christians: Responsibility

Atheists: Feel how shitty you are, let the shit course through your veins.

i put this through a King James English translator because of its absurd self-defeating nature... as a standalone statement anyways.

Christians: Thy duty doth call. Atheists: Feel the weight of thy despair, let it course through thy very veins.
