A letter to the disenfranchised...

I’m Ruinen Lightsbane, leader of <Mutiny> and I’ve had enough of the way things are.
The same guilds, the same loot politics, the same people at the top while everyone else carries the weight.

Mutiny's raid system is for players who want something fair, fast, and transparent. No point hoarding.
No endless attendance chains. Just raids, loot, and a system that rewards everyone who shows up.

How it works:

Platinum Auctions – If you can use it, you can bid. The platinum from the winning bid is split evenly among everyone present
(minus a 10% guild tithe for spells, reagents, and events). May only bid on items for character in attendence of raid.

No-Drop Gear – Straight /random 100 for eligible classes. You can win 1 no-drop and 1 droppable item per raid.
Didn’t win? You can bid again next drop. No one of your class in attendence? All drops go to you!

Equal Footing – You don’t need platinum to start getting gear, and you will earn platinum raiding.

Democratic Leadership – All raiding members vote on rules, progression targets, and elect both the Guild Banker
(keeps open, transparent ledgers) and the Raid Leader (coordinates raids with the guild’s consent).

Beyond Raids:

Monthly fun events — races, duels, scavenger hunts, pvp and more — all funded by the guild tithe.

A system that rewards showing up and helping others, not just filling an attendance sheet.

If you’ve been benched, overlooked, or just burned out by the same stale cycle,
this is your chance to help build something different — from the ground up.

/tell Ruinen for an invite. or add mutinyllc on discord to get an invite that way!

Sounds good.
Someone will find a way to scam it.

You can't scam random rolls, so I'd be less concerned with that.

I think the bigger issue is that they're not going to have key classes coming to many raids.

If your class can't earn anything (items or DKP), you have no incentive to show up. That means no Clerics coming unless Cleric items drop from that mob, no tanks coming unless tank items drop, no slowers unless ... you get the idea.

DKP is pretty much universal because it solves that problem (and a few others).

Platinum earning, comradery, the chance to group with the People's Guild Leader, voting on what content guild takes on. Nah, no incentives.

Cut
it
Out

Mutiny has already had an exodus of raid-level players leaving for mostly Castle. New players just cant help but gravitate towards Castle, and its a damn shame.

mutiny has already died a few times, surprised ruinen keeps coercing people to join after a large flock leaves each time to make their own spin-off
