Whether it’s porn or any other bad habit, it’s better to come with the focus of: what can I replace this with rather than how do I stop this. Stopping implies a void of unknown, and we fear the unknown. So put something in that hole. Whoops that mighta been the wrongly worded suggestion
The simple and obvious answer is: you could date instead. It’s this thing that for thousands of years has kept our species going before the invention of infinite amounts of naked and fake animated girls at our fingertips. Our brains weren’t really intended for unlimited porn, which is why it messes us up just like our body wasn’t intended or designed to have unlimited amounts of sugar at our fingertips (it used to be a super rarity for the human species) and drugs and all other dopamine sinks
But I’m sure dating is just impossible to do because [reasons], and you can either work on solving those reasons with that capable brain, or come up with some other replacement. But your libido was meant to be filled with human contact, not your hand or your computer screen. So it’s going to always be there nagging, regardless of what other hobby you use to replace porn. Which is why I say that dating should remain an important goal
