This book for the Pike quests currently has placeholder text.

Now, I have tried to find the previous text, but I have been unsuccessful. It is no longer an item on live (probably phased out when skill containers showed recipes).

However, I probably can recreate something similar based off of the Kunark Guide Lore and the actual instructions it contained that at least would be better for immersion than what currently exists.

P.S. After getting the pike we went ahead and completed the Footman pike quest, you get a pike head plans. They are not readable, but he says you'll need them to forge a footman pike. Currently the book Of Pike and Mancatcher is no longer available from the vendor, and when it was available it read like a newbie Iksar monk guild note. We will have to wait for the footman pike it seems 8(
