Froglok Bonecaster's Robe VS Tolapumj's Robe for an enchanter
 

Hi all. My Enchanter is level 43. I have both robes in my possession and everything I've read says FBcR. Tolap's gives me 27 more mana, but at the cost of losing the fire and disease saves. Do you guys think the saves outweigh the marginal extra mana? Thanks!

Froglok robe has 10mr which is pretty great, especially if you are using the targeted AE mez.

I’m a horrible enchanter so take that with a gain of salt. In general though, MR is always nice to have as a bonus stat.

What's your cha at? If you're maxed I'd go FBCR for the MR at least until you reach 56 and the 8str is a nice QOL upgrade but there are 2 lesser known cha options until you can get ice silk robe, robe of benevolence or a raid drop:

You could probably get good exp doing the tentacles at 43.

This one is good but it looks like ass and very hard to camp without a tracker but its only like 300pp on the market.

My first chanter I rocked the Froglok robe because like my 2nd day on the server some guy handed it to me with a few other INT items because he had a newborn and didn't have time to play anymore.

Try to get max CHA but gear isn't going to make a huge difference other than a GGR.

If your fighting casters the boner robe for sure.

MR is kinda a big deal for Enchanters

For sure, but as long as I had resist magic or GRM on it never was an issue. I don't remember my unbuffed MR but it is minor. Probably under +30 total on gear. Hell sometimes I'm too lazy to recast GRM when it fades and AE mez rarely sticks on me.
