Disconnected, reconnected far away
 

New player. Disconnected after a long run to my corpse. re-logging in, I was teleported way back to where I started. Is this normal.

started outside ak anom, made it all the way by dwarf town. d/c, now im standing at ak anom again. wah

F11 will show your connection/ping and will do a countdown when it loses connection

The client will still let you still move while it tries to establish a connection. It'll start a countdown and if it gets to 0 it'll disconnect you completely.
So it is normal and you'll log back on to your last known location when you had a connection
