What loot/quests/drops have you gotten in p99 that you didn't in Live

What things did you do in p99 that you never did or finished or got in live (not counting stuff you just bought), preferably with the same character type.

Personally as a paladin on my last p99 go around, stuff I looted/finished... Jboots, the divine might spell quest, the underwater breath earring drop from the guy near qeynos (literally popped in 30 seconds in front of me on the one time I swung by and he dropped it), and the aegis of life (took weeks of camping to get that pop).

Bard Epic

#thread

Also raiding in general, never joined a guild back on live so everything beyond Vox/Naggy (which were open raids on my live server back then) all the raid content was new to me. Including keys to VP and sleeper's tomb and working on ring 10.

You got lucky, even to this day I always check on hadden to see if he's up when going through the zone and there is pretty much always someone camping him (different people).

On a related but diametrically opposed note, I started a ranger in qeynos a couple weeks ago and I tracked down pyzjn and she had the GBS but I was only level 4 and my main was in kunark. /sadface. Followed her for a while and tried to get someone to help but some scrub ranger drove by and got it.

As to answer the main question I'm almost done with the coldain shawl quest. Started it on live but never really dented it. Only had 1 glowing bile and then a quake happened while farming and 4 glowing wurms popped so that was fairly good luck. I have pretty much all the pieces and all the tradeskilling done, just waiting to get tailoring a bit higher to get more chances at a succesful combine on the 6th shawl. I even have the mats for that but not the money for the velious combines.

Had my wizard's epic on live though and I don't think I'll ever finish my enchanter's (my main) epic on here since I can't really afford to raid timewise. I'd need to find a casual guild that does hate/fear on a regular basis.

Got to do ToV content properly. Obviously picked up some overlooked pixels too, but for me the real prize is relieving previously experienced content as well as getting a second chance to try out the content I missed out on. And the friends we make along the way!

I only played in classic and a bit of kunark when I was a kid
Quick stint back when luclin was out,but just a few weeks.

Have seen almost everything in the game now, have 3 epics including a hard one, warrior.
If a new server rolls il probably just play in classic and quit, since I missed it this time around- just starting after velious launch

Yeah new gear and general progression is great but I came to p99 this year and with how complete the wiki is compared to the little we knew back then, a lot of the old stuff feels new. There's a lot of gear/mechanics I never knew even existed. I don't think people realize how low the knowledge floor was back then.

Now I'm leveling new characters up from starting zones I never tried and taking "inefficient" routes just to see content I never got to see or go deeper in zones I barely scratched the surface. There's a lot of nice discoveries to be made. Not sure if the meta is too burnt in or people are just lazy but some dead zones are seriously much better than people seem to think they are.

The only thing that Ive ever really wanted, this server doesn't support (Unless you been here since 2008).

Wearing a cryo robe on literally any caster.

But on the + side, I am glad that this has not been acomplished by me yet, because it gives me something to live for.

Ice silk robe has the same graphic if that is why you want it.

Yeah there's a lot of interesting places to see if you're willing to go off the beaten path!

I never saw Plane of Sky on live. Ignorance was bliss in hindsight.
