Stutter after ending combat?

Hello! This is my first post here so excuse me if my formatting is weird.

Recently I've noticed that when I end combat, whether it's a real fight or simply toggling auto attack, the game stutters for a moment. As in 59fps down to 57. Not really big but noticeable.

I've tried several fixes mentioned on the forums. WinEQ2, DGVoodoo2, Duxa de-bloat & CPU fix, 59fps lock, etc. So far nothing has worked. I can recreate it consistently as well and it happens whether or not I'm mouse turning or keyboard turning.

If it helps, I'm running a GTX 1660 Super, Ryzen 5 2600, and 16gigs of RAM. Thanks all!

Thank you for the quick response! I forgot to mention that I had already disabled logs. Despite that, I tried the fix mentioned and it doesn't seem to have had any effect.

Your character may have battle fatigue / shell shock / ptsd.

It's unlikely, but it could be networking related. If you have a mobile hot spot on your phone, you could try using it temporarily to see if it helps (but I wouldn't give great odds that it will).

One other thought: https://wiki.project1999.com/Tech_Su...ent_Stuttering suggests that the problem might be a too large log file. If that's the case, even though your logs might be turned off, you might still have the problem.

If so, you should be able to fix things by renaming your logs folder (eg. to "Old Logs"). Again, I have no confidence this will help, but it will only take a minute to test, and it might.

Unfortunately neither seem to have had any effect. I've been testing though and it seems like this issue occurs on both my laptop and desktop on two completely fresh installs. So either I'm very unlucky or it's a server issue. No clue, sadly. Thanks for the info though!

I'm not exactly sure what I'd be looking for, but I generated a new one in which I logged in, had the lag spike happen twice, then logged out. Here's a pastebin link if anybody can diagnose anything from it.

I'm guessing from this that you use the custom Duxa UI. Out of curiosity, does the issue still occur with the default UI?

(I didn't see any red flags in your logs, but I noticed some UI file loading logs ... which could be perfectly normal ... but it made me curious about UI skins.
