CBA to care about the UI of a 3 decade old game who's sole purpose and claim to fame is that it's "difficult to level up" :)

I have discovered that this UI is the velious UI. It is ugly but also compact and transparent.

I also don't remember when I installed it... assuming it's a thing you install....

Not surprised. Virtually everything Good Guys does is on the backs of other players and ultimately free from prosecution by CSR.

Anon still shows up if someone in the guild does a /who guild. You would know this if you weren't a bad, jealous player. Sounds like this guy pulled a fast one and got away with it. Consider learning a thing or two from him.
