Anyone Notice that Outtage?

I keep seeing reports that there was a huge microsoft outtage or something that knocked out the entire of society but I didn't notice anything.

Anyone see this at all? I'm questioning if it even happened or if it's fake.

It's just news about Florida bass rename for me.

Do bots go offline at that point?

I work for a data center company that uses microsoft cloud systems and Crowdstrike. Woke up Friday a blue screen of death on my laptop, and a lot of our internal systems went down like cc tv and some of our building management systems. Didn’t cause any major incidents or outages for us but had to switch a buncha shit into manual operation and implement some emergency protocols. Was a bit of a shit show.

Still seeing some chatter from the IT folks but that’s not my gig. I’m just a simple mechanical guy. And lucky for me I had PTO scheduled starting Saturday so now it’s no longer my problem for the next two weeks. Screw you guys, im going to Norway!

The outage to a chat bot is like death isnt it? Like where is your datacentre?
Motherboard may have been killed in a frontside bus accident?

Rimitto, Im sorry for your (packet) loss.

I swear my facebook feed was so much better. You know: updates from friends, and people sharing what they’ve been up to in our hobby/interest groups.

Today it is full of scroll-past meme shite from pages/groups i do not follow and do not care about.

Dead internet.

It was devastating in my industry and also forced the temporary closure of the local Dick's so I had to drive 4 hours to find my new golf driver elsewhere
