Green 2.0 - A propsal.
 

Why not.... just delete ALL of our characters, build a guild of people interested, set up the discord, and start over Green 2.0 style. Just put anyone who doesn't join on ignore.

You can time lock whatever content you want through mutual agreement. You don't need the Admins to create a new server, you can actualize the reality that you want without them. Put on your big girl pants, man up, and delete your characters.

Finally my chance to get a guise.

Cause 90% of people won't delete and just say they did.

The problem with this “idea” is that the illusion of a fresh start is shattered whenever you see a dime-a-dozen twink that someone poured 150k plat into who is soloing a camp your guild group wants to do. At that point, you feel dumb for gimping yourself while everyone else is basically roflstomping. I guess you can sort of get around this temporarily by going to places nobody else visits like runnyeye or whatever, but sooner or later you have to return to town… and voila, more Velious geared megatwinks. Again, illusion shattered. That was why I couldn’t get into ALS. It’s just not the same. Not even remotely.

roflstomping is the babys way of playing. Playing p99 is sort of gimping yourself anyways, like less qol and corpse runs and xp loss is why we come here.
Equiping a twink with OP gear is like playing Pay2Win.
But you guys do you.

I think it's just more of a time management thing. If you are good at the game, having an untwinked character doesn't really make the game harder. You just need to spend 4x more time leveling compared to a twinked version of your character.

You'd really need to go out of your way to try and challenge yourself if you want to make the game hard again. But even something like a solo self found Warrior can cheese things with bow kiting.

I like this idea just because there would be a large group of people to level up with. As it is right now, I'm playing a live TLP server simply because finding active groups for either of my toons on green is a monumental task here, and believe me I'd rather be playing here, the two RL friends I started playing P99 with quit on me for the lack of players.

I've pretty much committed just to watching P99 forums for when a new green server is released.
