I played kunark-PoP. I have played 1999 before back in 2011. i was able to retrieve my account. I am having issues with eqgame exe not loading. Says patchme.. and make sure the file was typed correctly. i did some fixes via forums advice and much of it is way outdated. I ended up getting the eq.exe to open via making a new shortcut but am unable to login. I have windows 11, and it seems alot is done in w10. Any help would be appreciated. I am damn rusty when it comes to this.

Welcome back. I'm not sure how to solve your issue, I only know definitely don't try to patch the game. Hopefully someone can answer your question, otherwise I would just try installing again from scratch. Maybe check out youtube, there might be a more recent tutorial on how to install p99.
