are servers down?

The servers have been having problems for the last few weeks. Many people are claiming blank server select, timeout or unknown error.

It’s definitely login server issue because it’s happening to a lot of people

I've personally have had 0 issues recently, or ever really unless there was a broadcast message of server downtime.

I have been having this problem since I came back to p99 a couple weeks ago. Its usually just a blank server select and a few attempts will get me in but today I'm getting an error msg telling me I need to repatch some of the times I try, others its just blank.

I am definitely having problems logging in, that just started a couple of weeks ago. It started the day of the quake before draft. Ever since then, I've been having the same problems that other people have stated, "Need to rerun updater" error, Timeout error, Unknown error, Blank Server select, etc.

Someone on Discord mentioned something about routing error with ISP. Not sure I entirely buy that. Here's why:

Heard from one player with ATT the exact same problems.
Heard from another with Xfinity who is having same problems.
Heard from another with FiOS with same problems.

It's gotta be server side, something is going on. Maybe Rogaen needs more donations to buy better server equipment?

No issues with Starlink, Verizon (wireless), or Cogent here.

It's possible I haven't tried to logging on during any of these possible mentioned outages, but I haven't had any issues logging in the last week or two.

Things have been smooth sailing on my end as far as logging into game.
