Crafting skill up bug
 

(I appologize for originally posting in the wrong forum) Cant figure out how to delete the original

I have worked through several crafting trees. At least 5 or 6 separate items/occasions, in various crafting trees, I crafted items, eventually getting a message "you can no longer advance" or whatever the default message is. Successfully crafting dozens of items. It was contrary to posted trivials, but I shrugged and thought, well, this must be out of date.

Tonight, 10/13/2023, I crafted 2 hand made backpacks with current skill of 86, and received 2 messages saying "you can no longer advance". About 1 hour later that evening, I made another backpack, and it leveled to skill 87. I did not gain any character levels in that time.

I wasted a ton of plat on smashing together smithing items that were not trivial, to later get messages that I couldn't advance in skill. Is this a server issue. do I have to wait for the server to update periodically if I get messages about items being trivial? I was receiving messages about banded cloaks which became trivial to me at 139. What is going on?
