How do I farm a Burnt wood staff?
 

Anyone have advice on how to get this Item? I can't seem to get one to drop. I have used my enchanter to charm suicide every golem in chardok for weeks now and I can't seem to get a golem to pop with the staff.

Never done chardok stuff yet, are you sure the staff will be visible on the golems?

I'm not 100% sure on that. I tried to give 2 handed blunt weapons to some of the Golems. Some of them visibly wear it, others either do not display it or do not wear it all. A lot of the Golems in Korocust room do not seem to wear weapons or simply don't display it. Only information I have on it is 1 or 2 Enchanters who claimed to have gotten it after a EQ/Server Reset and the Golem that dropped it was visibly wearing a 2 handed staff.

The staff is visible on the golems when they have it. Just looks like a regular wood staff. It's pretty rare, Ive gotten a couple in koros pit after quakes. Is the best chance since every golem repops

It was a lot more common in chardok 1, when their was golems in the betrayer tunnel

Hmm. Interesting. I tried to give some of those Golems weapons, but they didn't put them on. Do they already have weapons on or something?

Are you amiable faction? I always give them the slave whips and they equip them, visibly
A lot of them have 1h maces

If your below amiable they need to be charmed to equip whatever you give them
If your kindly plus some of the casters will buff you as they run by

I wish I knew a way to farm these as well! I'd suggest just farming plat and buying one, it's probably way less of a time investment sadly

They are rare and under valued, niche too because no one levels mage past 55
